summit (summit atN 5°33'10.6", W 60°57'28.8"), following
eastern ridge to N 5°33'25.6", W 60°57'43.8".
5° 33' 17"N, 60° 57' 30" W Elev. 918 to 963 m.
Slope forest, with two large gaps rich in epiphytes. Erect herb to
3m. Fruit at base of plant on 0.5m rachis. Fruits green turning
bright red. Seed black, surrounded by orange-yellow aril. Scent of
ginger.
