Pedicel green, hard. Fruit dark green,
some with irregular orange blotches or
areas; regularly and deeply 10-ridged,
often with a prominent nipple (not a
protruding ovary as often in C^ maxima)
at the flower end. Flesh light orange or
yellow-orange. Seeds pale tan.
