Petals maroon; ovary white. Infrequent on hillside
in deciduous woods above Rt. 8 ca. 2 miles west of
Vanceburg. Assoc, plants: Stellaria pubera,
Trillium grandiflorum, Trillium sessile, and
Trillium erectum.
