    Flat on basalt ridge. Wyoming sagebrush community; Associated with Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Opuntia polyacantha, Lomatium dissectum, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Oenothera caespitosa, Arabis lignifera, Arabis holboellii. Common. Coarse textured, gravelly soil.
