Rocky slopes and pinnacles form the summit, where a small remnant stand of Abies amabilis and Tsuga heterophylla occurs (all the surrounding forests are logged-off). Steep open slopes at the summit have an herbaceous flora with relic xeric elements. Moist shaded banks by rock cliff at the summit. Tepals purple at edges and base. July 21, 1971 K. L.
