Savannah River; oak-pine canopy. Site #11 (Lat.
34°01,40"; Long. 82°36,02"), at the Russell Dam
construction site on the Savannah. Below the
475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell
Lake; impoundment of the Savannah River scheduled
for the mid-1980's).
