Cerrado woodland and low grassland, much disturbed and turned
into cattle pastures, but almost all plants native in region. With
Curatella americana, Acrocomia aculeata, Attalea speciosa.
Very inconspicuous, even when flowering. This area had been
passed on 5 different occasions in November and December 2011
before noticing it today. Corolla tube and appendages dark purple;
open corolla face yellow. Low area, sandy, grassy.
