Cerrado woodland and low grassland, much disturbed and turned
into cattle pastures, but almost all plants native in region. With
Curatella americana, Acrocomia aculeata, Attalea speciosa.
Shrub 1.5 m. tall; branches at 45° angle, the leaves angled
upwards, and the inflorescences hanging below them. A few pink
flowers. This plant had probably not begun flowering by 18 Nov.
2011 when this area explored.
