Disturbed chaco woodland, grazed, along defensive dike
(the floodplain of the Rio Grande is on the west side),
between highway and the railroad.
Vine into shrubs. Corolla white, with violet on tip of bud.
Fruit dark purple. This is one morphological extreme of the
species, with very tomentose, cordate leaves and small
flowers.
