Hills on unconsolidated sediments, with dry forest of Ceiba
speciosa, Trichilia claussenii, Cereus dayamii, Triplaris
americana, Gallesia integrifolia, Anadenanthera
macrocarpa, a few areas cleared for cattle pastures.
Small tree, the foliage attacked by various insects. Not
much flowering now on this tree; floral bracts yellow-green
like the emerging leaves.
