The Rio Cuchi now a small now-flowing stream on wide,
shallow sandy bed, with many Cyperaceae, Andropogoneae,
and with cerrado woodland (Combretum leprosum) on
sandy soil above the floodplain on both sides.
Shrublets to 1 m. tall. Petals yellow with dull red-orange
lines.
