Ibanez, 12 km (straight line) W of center of La Belgica, along Rio Cuchi. 17°33’32”S, 63°20’23”W. ait. 340 m. The Rio Cuchi now a small now-flowing stream on wide, shallow sandy bed, with many Cyperaceae, Andropogoneae, and with cerrado woodland (Combretum leprosum) on sandy soil above the floodplain on both sides.
