of Boyuibe, on dirt road to Charagua.
20°23’26”S, 63°16’41”W. alt. 785 m.
Sandy floodplain of the now dry Rio Cuevo, grazed, arid
chaco scrub, with thickets of Acacia aroma; Clematis
campestris, Cestrum parqui, Solarium consimile.
Shrub, common, to 2.5 m. tall here; plant foetid. Flowers
open, odorless, visited by butterflies (11:00-11:30 A.M.,
bright overcast).
