above the road to Santa Cruz. Elevation: 1150
meters. Approximate location: 18°8'32"S.

Submerged aquatic herb. Extremely
abundant, growing throughout the
system. Often observed with fruits.
A few flowers present. No
long-petioled leaves observed.
Habitat: a pond, with an area of ca.
7 hectares. Dominated by
Potamogeton illinoensis and P. gayii.
