Marshy area along the edges of the Rio Guadalquivir.
Elevation: ca. 1800 meters. Approximate location:
21°3r58MS 64°44'35"W
Aquatic herb. Extremely abundant.
Growing in small steams which
enter the river and in (seasonal?)
pools along the edge of the river.
No fertile individuals were noted .
Habitat: marshy area alongside the
river. Some areas are dominated by
M. aquaticum; others by Eichhornia
crassipes. A first record for Bolivia.
