yopt BOTANICAL Parde** 03691824 SA 173 Flora of Bolivia Family: Euphorbiaceae Caperonia castanfleifolia (L.) St.-Hil. Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1997 Department of Beni Province of Cercado Laguna Suarez, approximately 5 km S.E. of the city of Trinidad. Elevation: ca. 160 meters. Semi-aquatic herb, with swollen, floating stems. Occasional. Corolla: white, 5-merous with 3 larger and 2 small petals. Fruits present. Habitat: a floating mat of aquatic vegetation, dominated by Eichhornia azurea and E. crassipes.
