Emergent herb. Occasional. Growing
in damp, sandy clay, near to the
transition between wetland and
terrestrial habitats. Flowers white.
Fruits spiny. Habitat: marshy area
alongside the river, characterized by a
mixture of vegetation. Some areas are
dominated by Myriophyllum aquaticum
and others by Eichhornia crassipes.
