A large cove at the southern end of Laguna Mandiore.
Separated from the main body of the lake by a narrow
spit of land. Elevation approximately 90 m. Center of
collecting: 18°14'12"S. 57°37'38"W.
Shrub. Growing in ca. 2.0 meters of
water. Very abundant locally.
Flowers and fruits present. Flowers
pale green. Sepals muddy red.
Habitat: very loose aggregation of
floating species with scattered
emergent shrubs. Dominated by
Ludwigia kelminthorrhiza, with
smaller amounts of Salvinia sp.,
Pistia stratiotes and Polygonum sp.
