Alaska BIG DELTA QUAD: Along Richardson Hwy (Alaska Hwy 2), near Johnson Rd., 7.2 miles NW of the Salcha River bridge, and 14 miles SE of North Pole, 26 June 1999, Jason R. Grant 99-3583a with Warren Herb Wagner, Jr., Florence Wagner, Peter Zika. Young saplings of the following trees were sprouting on the roadside: Betula neoalaskana, Ainus viridis, Populus tremuloides, Salix bebbiana, Populus balsamifera and Picea glauca. Herbs and small shrubs along the roadside include: Taraxacum officinale, Hedysarum alpinum, Potentilla norvegica, Shepherdia canadensis, Cornus canadensis, Arnica angustifolia, Equisetum pratense, Hierochloe odorata, Linnaea borealis, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Antennaria rosea, Achillea millefolium, Lupinus arcticus, Galium boreale, Bromus inermis, Solidago* decumbens and Rubus idaeus.
