Description
Solitary palm about 4 m tall, stem smooth, diam. approx. 9" whitish, leaves cleanly absicissing, 21 leaves, 12'5" long, pinnate, leaflets 107 per side, irregularly arranged, clusters of 3, 4 and 2s. Leaflets approx. 5' long, yellow green, yellow midrib. Petiole 3'3" long. Penduncular bract woody, persistent, splitting abaxially. Inflorescence interfolia, arching. Infructescence pendulous, approx. 3.2' long, 50-100 fruits. Fruits approx. 6" long x 3" diam. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
