Liebre Mountains, confluence of Ruby Canyon and Elizabeth Lake Canyon at northwest end of Red Mountain. Near 34°36’ 10’ ’N, 118°33’14”W. T6NR16W. Elev. ca. 1920 ft. Steep, rocky slopes of metasedimentary substrate above narrow streambed with shallow pools and occasional gravelly benches. Slopes with Cercocarpus betuloides, Quercus agrifolia, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriogonum fasciculatum, etc. Populus fremontii, Salix lasiolepis, S. laevigata, S. exigua, Tamarix ramosissima common along stream in canyon bottoms.
