Habitat
Below cliffs with yellow crustose lichen. Acacia greggii, Cheilanthes deserti, Digitaria californica, Ditaxis lanceolata, Ephedra aspera, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Galium stellatum, Lycium andersonii, Machaeranthera spinulosus, Mirabilis bigelovii, Muhlenbergia porteri, Salvia mohavensis, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Stipa speciosa, Tridens muticus, Viguiera parishii, Zephyranthes longifolia, Ziziphus lycioides. Locally dense colony of many shrubs, not seen anywhere else on the mountain.
