1524m/5000ft. Juniper woodland with Juniperus osteosperma,
Yucca brevifolia, Y. schidigera, Salazaria mexicana, Hymenoclea
salsola, Ericámería lifíéarifolia, É. cooperi, etc.
A fairly common annual in shade of shrubs on a rocky S-facing
slope; fls. yellow.
