NW of Yucca Valley, between front gate and reserve headquarters
at old Burns home (Yucca Valley North 7.5’: 34° 08'57"N, 116°
27'21"W; TIN R5E S27, NW/4). Alt.: 1250m/4100ft. Flats and
bouldery granitic hills, decomposed granite soil; pinyon-juniper
woodland with Juniperus, Pinus monophylla, Quercus
cornelius-mulleri, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca schidigera, etc.
Fairly common annual; fls. yellow.
