just S of Pluess-Staufer haul road to White Knob quarry. USGS
Butler Pk. and adjacent Fawnskin IVz' quads. 4800-5400 ft. elev.
(1460-1650 m). Most of the site recently burned (i.e., w/in past
year). Alluv. fan of granitic material; conspicuous plants are
Prunus fasdculata, Yucca brevifolia, Pinus monophylla. Ridge-
tops are a mix of carbonate and granitic bedrock.
Occas. annual on alluvium. FIs yellow.
