This has scattered cruciate [tetra]spores
andmust be either a Schizymenia or a
Grateloupia. In spite of the color I
believe it to be merely a large G. Gut-y
leriae. The only authentic specimen of
I. pinnata -which I have is not a fifth
as large as this and does not look much
