Sabatia grandiflora (A. Gray) Small
Northeast of where new trail crosses wetland about 1.3 miles north
of Walton Road and 8 miles south of central Ft. Pierce. Level
open wet prairie. Soil Waveland-Lawnwood complex. With Xyris,
grasses, Polygala, Eriocaulon, Hypericum. Flowers brilliant pink
with yellow eye. Common, scattered.
