N-facing pastured slope with young stand of trees, Ulmus
rubra, U. americana, Acer negundo, Dicentra cucullaria,
Arisaema canadense, Arisaema triphyllum, Zanthoxylum
americanum, Viola sororia, V pubescens.
Dense clumps. Flowers held at or slightly above level of the
leaves.
