Description
Tree, 25 feet high with a foot thick stem; leaveshorizontally spreading, chartaceous, the larger 3 feet long; peduncle arising from the uppermost bracts, 3-5 inches long; the 5 sepals yellowish green, petals 5, ascendingly curved, 4 inches long, 3 inches across, bright yellow; stamens bright yellow; pvary yellow with a slight reddish tingestigmas and styles yellowish white; fruits irregularly globose, 3 inches thick, solid; seed brown. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
