GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts; Upper Ireng watershed;
Malakwalai-Tipu summit along SE escarpment. 1400 m. 4°48'N
60°18'W. Montane savanna with exposed sandstone and sclerophyllous
scrub on escarpment edge. Shrub 1 m; leaves aromatic; flowers reddish
orange to yellow distally; fruit dark blue, glossy, globose, 0.3 cm dia.
