Edge parking area and Mobile Bay (at entrance to
Chacaloochee Bay), with Amaranthus, Erechtites
hieraciifolia, unshaded.
On pavement where water accumulates at times; no other
plants in the thin soil. Flowers open (9:50 A.M., mostly
sunny); petals deep pink.
