Portulaca atnilis Speg.
FRANKLIN CO.: F.S.U. Coastal Marine Lab. Frequent in dry sand with
P. pilosa and Chamaesyce spp. in sparse lawn just S of laboratory bldg.
Lat 29.91637 N, Long. 84.51112 W. This sp. with large, succulent flat leaves
and large, rose (orange-red) flowers, whereas P. pilosa has smaller, terete leaves and
smaller, lavender-pink flowers [no intergradation seen].
