Filaments adnate to corolla for 1/2 length. Calyx lobes erect or slightly divergent. Corolla blue or purplish, sometimes both colors on same plants. Leaves limp. Corolla open at apex, but lobes not spreading. VIRGINIA, Southampton County, ditch beside railroad, edge of woods of Pinus taeda & Quercus, 1/2 mile west of Adams Grove. Coll. R. T.
