    Coast Range Ecoregion. Montane conifer forest at margin of acid bog-meadow, Rhododendron, Thuja, Tsuga, Alnus, Gaultheria shallon, Gentiana. Common. Basaltic outcrops, acid peat and humus.

    Tree, ca. 10 m. tall. Evergreen tree, ca. 10 m. tall. branch flattened, cones turned ipright on branches. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
