6 August 1980 MONTANA, Deer Lodge Co., Anaconda-Pintlar Wilderness Area ca. 15 air mi. SW of Anaconda, vicinity of Mt. Tiny, Elev. 9500 ft., open alpine grassy, S-facing, 15% slope. 20% moss and 40% other vegetative cover, 10% rock. The dominants: Carex pseudo- scirpoidea, Dryas octopetala, Poa alpina, Polygonum bistortoides, also with Cas- tilleja pulchella, Gentiana algida, Oxytropis campestris, Poa arctica, P. glauca, Festuca ovina. Corolla cream, speckled with dark greenish-blue; stems erect in a clump 1.5 dm broad. Distribution: NY, RM NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN “ 03579953 ZJi 03579953
