Habitat
Wooded canyon slope dominated by Pinus ponderosa. Aspect WNW. Associated species include Pseudotsuga menziesii, Calamagrostis rubescens, Bromus tectorum, and Holodiscus discolor. Uncommon on mossy bank. Substrate basalt.
