Corolla: upper petals dark purple, lower lavender.
Community: Upland Longleaf Pine Forest.
Topography: level.
Substrate: loam with litter.
Associates: Pinus elliottii, P. palustris, Rhus copallmum, Liquidambar
styraciflua, Acer rubrum, Sassafras albidum, Quercus, Rubus spp.
