Highway), 0-0.6 mi N of jet. with Shady Lane Road, ca. 3
mi due N of Pedee. Willamette Valley (N end
McTimmonds Valley). Elev. ca. 132 m. Silty clay loam,
disturbed. Probably some weathered volcanic ash.
Old field, full sun, open vegetation with grasses, scattered
shrubs, border of conifer and cottonwood (Populus)
plantings (tree farm) mostly near intermittently moist
drainage ditch with Sidalcea campestris, Rubus
laciniatus, Rosa pisocarpa. Flowers pink; rather common
annual, scattered with grasses at roadside.
