of Cooperstown. E side of La Grange road, N side of
levee on property line. Elev. 435-450 ft. Alluvial soils,
silts, loams, clays just E of sandstone outcrops.
Floodplain, cleared meadows, floodplain forest remnants,
intermittent ponds, adjoining cropland. Locally common
erect annual herb with green fruits. At margins of dried
pool.
