Rhizome horizontal, petals white, some or all purple dorsally.
Moist rocky flat at edge of serpen tine with Penstemon, Ceanothus
prostratus and Arctostaphylos in scattered Pinus ponderosa, alti-
tude 1200 feet.
Kerby Flat at base of Eight Dollar Mountain above Illinois River,
2 miles west of Selma.
