Aspen woodland with rich understory.
Leaves somewhat rugose; petals white in front with
purplish-brown lines at base of lower and lateral petals,
upper and lateral petals rose-violet on back, expecially
prominent on upper, the lower 3 yellowish proximally, the
spur green.
