SS.<0 Flora of the Paumonek Wetland, Long Island Polygonatum pubescens (Willd.) Pursh NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School. Growing in thin patch. Flowers greenish-white in one’s and two’s. Hairs on adaxial side of the leaf along the veins. Approx. 0.3 m tall. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Uvularia sessilifolia, Geranium maculatum, Eurybia divaricata, Maianthrmum racemosum, Lindera benzoin, Fagus grandifolia, Sassafras albidum, and Quercus.
