The New York Botanical Garden Flora of New York State Liliaceae Polygonatum biflorum (Walter) Elliot det. Ahmad, Amna I, 1999 United States of America. New York. Westchester Co.: Scarsdale. Along trail in Bronx River Reservation entering at Bronx River Parkway in Scarsdale to Tucahoe along the Bronx River ca. 40°58’N, ca. 73°48’W. Associated with Acer, Aesculus, Ornithogalum, Alliaria Pinus and Tsuga canadensis. Erect arching herb, ca. 1 m in height. Single stem with alternate leaves, sheathing leaf bases. Two parallel veins.
