Rough rocky mountainsides near El Molino (about 25 miles south-
west of Guadalajara), overlooking Acatl&n and the basin of
Laguna de Atotonilco, elevation 1650 m.; dry shrub association
with tree ipomoea, Bursera, many perennial herbs.
Abundant.
Plant 2 - 3 »• high; selected small
rosettes of leaves; flowers yellow-green
or stamens purpie-tinged; anthers green-
ish yellow, purple-dotted.
