GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: North Canyon, appx. 750m S of Hwy 120, due S of Granite Mountain. (Cowtrack Mtn. quad: 37° 53.163'N, 118° 45.704'W; T1S R29E S3, NE/4 of SE/4). Alt.: 2134m/7000ft. Deep W-E canyon running parallel to Hwy 120, cutting through Bishop tuff rhyolite. Heavily grazed canyon bottom with dry stream and soft pumice / rhyolite soil. With Pinus monophylla, small P. jeffryi, Salix, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, C. nauseosus, Purshia tridentata, Tetradymia canescens, Cryptantha confertiflora, Hesperostipa cornata.
