    Perennial geophyte of 40-50cm high. Leaves simple, glabrous, light green, linear, in basal fan, sword shaped, 10x300mm, margins entire. Corm rufus to 20mm long, roots a fine mass. Inflorescence a spike,flowering singly in sprays of 1-6 per spike. Flowers.
