Plateau with gentle slope, full sun, in well-drained to seasonally waterlogged soil of sandstone sand and loam. Savanna krantz scrub. Native and abundant.

Description
Perennial parasitic scrambler covering many square meters in tangled growth. Stems hairy, new growth yellow, mature green. Leaves reduced to scales except at tips of stems where rufus and hairy. Fruit of green spheres up to 7mm diam., becoming semi opaqu.
