Oropeza, hill with antennas and Christ statue, just above and E of Yotala. 19°09’33”S, 65°15’39”W. alt. 2555 m. Rocky open hillside with scattered trees (including planted or escaped Cupressus, Eucalyptus), with Harrisia tetracantha, Opuntia, Prosopis, Acacia, Pennisetum villosum. Browsed, branched shrublet, the stems to 0.5 m. tall, strictly erect. Male; the “anthers” seemingly ready to release pollen. Coll.: M. Nee 56014 21 March 2009
