    Perennial scrambling herb of 80-160cm high. Petioles 1-2mm long. Leaves simple, hairy, whorled, light green, elliptical, margins entire. Leaves heavily browsed. Stem is angular, finely hairy. Flowers in terminal clusters, irregular, magenta, tube to 8mm l.
