lot, beside entrance of blacktop path, at edge of
low, wet mixed hardwood forest, with Quercus
virgirtiana, Liquidambar styraciflua, Sabal
palmetto, etc. Disc flowers yellow, ray flowers
white; achenes 2-awned, awns retrorsely barbed.
