forest; colls, centered on coordinates 7D 44/E lat. x 146D 30/E long.
collection sequence 11468 - 11484; 20 m canopy tree, common in hill
and alluvial forest, unbuttressed; bark thick, not fissured, inner bark pink
and distinctly ridged, sapwood straw; twigs terete; leaves spiral, dry-
coriaceous, adaxial surface glossy green, abaxially glaucous; entire
inflorescence light brown.
